Jill Savege Moves On
January 2004 — Siri will no longer be coaching Jill Savege the Canadian. Siri and Jill achieved great success in 2003. Together they fulfilled all the goals set at the start of the season. Jill won the Canadian National Championships which qualified her for the Pan American Games where she won the gold medal. She won the Newfoundland World Cup, was 3rd at the Portugal World Cup and was in the top 5 in all other World Cups she competed in. Most importantly she qualified for the 2004 Olympic Games through her 4th place, top Canadian finish at the Athens World Cup. So, it was a great year! Jill has chosen to continue her training at home in Canada. Siri and the Sirius athletes team wish her the very best for 2004.
